Honestly, I have to say that I am incredibly impressed with the amount of participation thus far. Only 2 days in and just under 50 purply submissions submitted! We'll have a gallery of wonderful purple things in no time!

Just thought I'd comment on some of the submissions...

I've gotten everything from pictures of cars to pictures of monsters to a picture of a rogue purple wrapped tampon. I like what I'm seeing so far.

I'm gonna be on the lookout for something purple to be awarded as a prize (clever eh (no I am not canadian...just thought I'd throw in an eh in the spirit of the upcoming Olympic winter games)) :D

Welcome (First Task Enclosed)

Hello and welcome to Things People Have, a blog that I hope will become a collection of well...Things People Have.

So here's the deal...

Essentially, I'll post my phone number and something to take a picture of and wait for you wonderful people to flood my inbox with things that you have that match what I am looking for.

At the end of each week, I'll make a gallery of the pictures I've collected, and eventually we will have an album of Things People Have.

Perhaps, if this takes off the way I'm hoping it does...each week I will choose a photo and announce a best picture award, or a most creative picture award, and award a prize to the lucky winner. (something meager...like a gift certificate or $5...I mean what do you have to lose?)
